Deborah individually hand paints her colorful, lively, original designs directly onto the garments.

She enjoys the spontaneity of working completely free-hand, without the use of patterns or stencils. Designs seem to acquire a life of their own as they emerge from the surface of the item being painted.

Each garment is a true one-of-a-kind creation; there are no two exactly alike. Most items are painted front and back.

Garments are machine washable, and may be
tumble dried or line dried without affecting the painting. Chlorine bleach may be used on white items without affecting the painted design.  Any initial stiffness will disappear with the use of a fabric softener sheet in the dryer. All garments are hand painted with artists' quality acrylic paints. No lead-based colors are used.
Paints are mixed with varying amounts of medium and/or water according to the type of surface being painted.Careful attention to painting technique ensures that the painted design will not wash out or peel away from the garment.

And, unlike some fabric dyes, the high-quality acrylic paints that are used on these items will not fade out or run onto other items in the wash.
These unique hand painted items should be worn often!
